Peach Fertilization Point

 

Peach tree will age quickly if nutrients are insufficient since fertilizer absorbing power is strong and root is shallow.

 

1. Basal application of fertilizer - Fertilize before root becomes active

If basal application of fertilizer is late, risk of falling fruit or epinasty rises since fertilizer response will appear late.

Excessive fertilization of poorly decomposed compost or organic fertilizer is the main cause of nutrient imbalance and salt accumulation.

⇒ Soil application with CERES (4-2-1+70% organic matter) 1000KG/1ha between the time leaves fall and the resting stage.

(Soil application with 100KG/1ha if NUTRI POWER was not fertilized after harvest)

 

2. Additional fertilizer – Fertilizer absorption volume is most robust for 30 days from mid-June to mid-July.

If nitrogen is excessive, risk of falling fruit increases during the stone-hardening stage and harvest maturity is delayed during the ripening phase.

Provision of potassium and calcium must be sufficient.

⇒ 1^st additional fertilizer in end of May – Soil application with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha.

⇒ 2^nd additional fertilizer in end of June - Soil application with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha.

 

3. Thanksgiving fertilization – Replenishes consumed nutrients after fruit harvest

Fertilize by considering the fruit setting amount and tree vigor.

⇒ Normal tree vigor- Soil application with NK CALMA 100KG/1ha + soil application with NUTRI POWER 100KG/1ha.

⇒ Soil application with NUTRI POWER 100KG/1ha if tree vigor is strong

 

 

Various Disorders and Problems that Occur During Peach Cultivation

 

1. Falling fruit prevention – Mainly occurs if root is weak or occurrence of ethylene is frequent

⇒ Manage so that the root is wide and deep: Irrigation with THE ROOTS 15~30L/1ha.

⇒ Supply calcium in a stable manner from the root: Irrigation with CALSTAR GOLD 30L/1ha

 

2. Pit split prevention – Mainly occurs from the first part of June to last 10 days of June

⇒ Induce fruit growth in a stable manner from the point after flower falling: Irrigation with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha + foliar spraying with POLY CAB 1000x as additional fertilizer after fruit setting.

 

3. Dehiscent fruit prevention – Sudden moisture provision after drying is the main cause

⇒ Improve physical property of the soil: Basic fertilization with CERES(4-2-1+70% organic matter) once per year

⇒ Improve nutrition relation to resolve excessive nitrogen and calcium shortage - Irrigation with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha + foliar spraying with POLY CAB 1000x after fruit setting

 

4. Flesh browning prevention: Peach flesh turns brown and becomes soft.

⇒ Supply calcium aggressively from young fruit period to fruit enlargement period - Irrigation with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha + foliar spraying with POLY CAB 1000x after fruit setting

 

5. Succulent shoot overgrowth prevention – Continuing extension after mid-June will cause risk of frost damage, defective extension of secondary root, and defective floral initiation.

⇒ If basic fertilizer is excessively fertilized or organic fertilizer impacts till late: Foliar spraying with CAP2018 500x or BALANCE PRO 1000x  

 

6. Leaf wilting prevention and recovery: Stoma function decline and fall in root function due to tree vigor weakness

⇒ Recover root function – Irrigation with THE ROOTS 30L/1ha

⇒ Reinforce leaf vitality – Foliar spraying by mixing SEAWEED F 500x and MAG MICRO 1000x

 

7. Leaf etiolation phenomenon prevention and recovery: There is concern of early defoliation due to lack of nutrients

⇒ Magnesium deficiency prevention and acquisition of strong leaves: MAG MICRO 1000x + DOUBLE K 250x

 

8. Defective shoot prevention and recovery - Initial germination is late and germinated leaves are small and thin.

⇒ Supply micronutrients – Foliar spraying with COMBI Ⅰ 2000x

⇒ Shortage of accumulated stored nutrients - Soil application with NUTRI POWER 100KG/1ha after harvest

 

9. Pollination defect prevention and recovery – Pollination is not occurring because blooming is defective, and pollen is small.

10. Fruit enlargement defect prevention and recovery

⇒ Activates cell division from blooming until fruit setting occurs – Foliar spraying with GS BIG 1000x

⇒ Promotes enlargement during the young fruit period - Foliar spraying with FRUITFUL 500x + POLYCAB 1000x

⇒ Balanced nutrient provision during fruit maximum growth period – Foliar spraying with DOUBLE F 250x +SEAWEED F 1000x

11. Defective coloring and sugar content prevention and recovery
