Pear Tree Fertilizer Fertilization Point
1. Basal application
of fertilizer – Fertilize before root becomes active
If basal
application of fertilizer is late, risk of defect and epinasty rises since
fertilizer response will appear late.
Excessive fertilization of poorly
decomposed compost or organic fertilizer is the main cause of nutrient
imbalance and salt accumulation.
In particular,
poorly decomposed compost induces competition for oxygen between microorganisms
and the root and causes rootlets to suffocate and wither.
⇒ Soil application with CERES (4-2-1+70% organic matter)
1000KG/1ha between the time leaves fall and the resting stage.
(Soil application with 100KG/1ha if NUTRI POWER was not fertilized
after harvest)
2. Additional
Fertilizer - Determination must be made according to tree vigor
Three times is
adequate for additional fertilization, and it should be adjusted according to
shoot growth. Supplying calcium is important and provision of nitrogen must
stop after August.
⇒ For excessive nitrogen,
overgrowth, and small fruit setting amount – Irrigation with TOP
PLANT PKCAB 100KG/1ha.
⇒ When fruit setting amount is large, or when there is a
shortage of fertilizer – Soil
application with NK CALMA 300KG/1ha.
⇒ When fruit setting is normal and fruit vigor is stable -
Soil application with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha
3. Thanksgiving
fertilization – Replenishes consumed nutrients after fruit harvest
Fertilize by
considering the fruit setting amount and tree vigor and skip fertilizing for
trees with strong tree vigor.
⇒ For trees with weak tree vigor due to excessive fruit
setting: Soil application with NK CALMA 100KG/1ha + soil application with NUTRI
POWER Ⅱ 100KG/1ha
⇒ For trees with tree vigor that is too strong: Soil
application with NUTRI POWER Ⅱ 100KG/1ha
Various physiological disorders and
problems in cultivation that occur during pear cultivation
1. Root management
⇒ Using poorly decomposed compost is prohibited.
⇒ During April-June and end of September-mid October when
root is vigorously active, supply additional fertilizer and thanksgiving
fertilizer substantially.
⇒ Irrigation with THE ROOTS 15~30L/1ha for tertiary root
development
2. Succulent shoot
management
⇒ Soil application with NUTRI POWER Ⅱ 100KG/1ha in field with excessive nitrogen
⇒ If floral initiation is defective due to overgrowth of
succulent shoot – Foliar
spraying with CAP2018 500x or foliar spraying with BALANCE PRO 1000x + irrigation
with TOP PLANT PKCAB 50KG/1ha.
⇒ For fruit enlargement in case there is succulent shoot
overgrowth – Foliar spraying with
DOUBLE PK 250x
3. Cold weather
damage prevention and recovery
⇒ If sufficient stored nutrient has not been secured due
to excessive fruition and early defoliation - Soil application with NK CALMA
100KG/1ha + NUTRI POWER 100KG/1ha after harvest.
⇒ When occurrence of cold weather damage is expected
(Occurs when exposed to temperature below -1.7℃ for 30 minutes or longer from blooming to fruit setting)
– Foliar spraying with CWD
DOWN 1000x
⇒ When rapid recovery is needed because cold weather
damage occurred – Foliar
spraying by mixing SEAWEED F 500x and RECOVER 1000x.
4. Nutrient
management during the fruit enlargement period between July-August
⇒ Adjust tree vigor with
nitrogen and potassium, and supply calcium in a stable manner – Additional fertilization with NK CALMA 200KG/1ha.
⇒ Activate anabolism - Foliar
spraying with POLYCAB 1000x periodically at 10-15-day intervals.
⇒ Tertiary root does not
occur between July-August. Existing roots must be managed properly – Irrigation with THE ROOTS 20L/1ha.
⇒ Increase
in magnesium deficiency risk – Foliar spraying with
MAG MICRO 1000x
5. Shoot withering,
defective shoot growth and development prevention and recovery: Manage
nutrients
⇒ Deficiency of micronutrients like iron, boron, etc. – Foliar spraying with COMBI Ⅰ2000x
6. Sagging leaf
phenomenon prevention and recovery
⇒ If root is defective during the high temperature period
after the rainy season – Irrigation
with THE ROOTS 20L/1ha.
⇒ To make sagging leaves horizontal – Foliar spraying with DOUBLE K 250x
7. Brown spot, early
defoliation prevention and recovery
⇒ Malnourished leaf phenomenon due to provision of
nutrient to fruits during the fruit enlargement period –
1st - Foliar
spraying with DOUBLE K 250x +SEAWEED F 1000x
2nd – Foliar
spraying with MAG MICRO 1000x + SEAWEED F 1000x
⇒ Rootlet becomes defective if nutrients made in the
leaves cannot be moved to the root due to excessive fruit setting – Irrigation with THE ROOTS 20L/1ha
8. Coloring is not
occurring properly, and sugar content is dropping.
⇒ Excessive nitrogen during the coloring period - Foliar
spraying with CAP2018 500x or BALANCE PRO 1000x
⇒ While the amount of fruit setting is large, weak tree
vigor is a problem - Foliar spraying with DOUBLE PK 250x +LUK S 500x
⇒ Sugar content and color enhancement
– Foliar spraying with COLOR MADE 1000x and foliar
spraying with COMBI Ⅱ 2000x
9. Dehiscent fruit
prevention: This occurs when fruit development is significant due to excessive nutrients
between 30-60 days after blooming even though there is little cell division.
⇒ Make the tissue dense by inducing robust cell division -
Foliar spraying with GS-BIG 1000x during blooming time.
⇒ Make the cell membrane hard – Irrigation with CAL STAR GOLD 30L/1ha + foliar spraying
with POLY CAB 1000x
10. Standardized fruit and large fruit
production – Activate blooming, pollination, and fruit
setting period cell division
⇒ It makes flowers plentiful, flower stalks longer, and pollen
abundant - Foliar spraying with GS-BIG 1000x when flower buds billow, during
full bloom and when flower drops.
⇒ Young fruit period after fruit setting - Foliar spraying
by mixing FRUITFUL 500x + POLY CAB 1000x
⇒ Prevent excessive nitrogen – Soil application with NUTRI POWER 100KG/1ha.
11. Wild pear, pithy
fruit, yubu fruit prevention
⇒ Phenomenon that mainly appears due to lack of calcium - Irrigation
with CAL STAR GOLD 30L/1ha + foliar spraying with POLY CAB 1000x
12. White rot,
etc. blight management: Eco-friendly bio products that replace pesticides
⇒ Foliar spraying
with SSR-ALL or MOLD OUT 1000x
13. Manage insect
pests like mite, plant louse, moth community, etc.: Eco-friendly bio products
that replace pesticides
